2025 Hampshire County Fair dates July 19-26

Wait till you read the calendar of events. It’s the best collection of music, song and comedy ever brought to the fairgrounds. Put these days on your calendar, rest up, put a couple of extra bucks in your pocket for cold drinks, wear comfortable shoes, and come ready to have a great time!

Saturday, July 19 – Free Admissions

10 a.m. Rabbit Showmanship & Judging followed by Lamb and Goat Showmanship & Judging

Gate: open 4-8:30 p.m.    $5

Rides: $10, 6-10:30 p.m.

Queens pageant — 6 p.m.

Tuesday, July 22

9 a.m. Hog Showmanship followed by Hog Judging

Gate: open 4-8:30 p.m.  $5

Rides: $15, 6-10:30 p.m.

Little Prince and Princess Pageants — 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 23

10 a.m. Feeder Calf & Breeding Heifer Showmanship & Judging

Gate: open 4-8:30 p.m. $5

Rides: $15, 6-10:30 p.m.

Consumed by Fire — 7 p.m.                           

Thursday, July 24

10 a.m. Market Beef Showmanship & Judging

Gate: open 4-8:30 p.m.  $1

Rides: $20 – 6-11 p.m.

Parade — 6:30 p.m.   Lineup 6 p.m.

Friday, July 25

Gate: open 4-8:30 p.m.   $5

Rides: $20, 6-11 p.m.

Gate: open 1 p.m.   $5

Fireworks Show — 10 p.m.

Free parking/free shuttle service: On Wednesday 5-10 p.m. and Saturday 5-11 p.m. Potomac Valley Transit Authority will provide free shuttles from Hope Christian Church to the top gate at the fairgrounds. Shuttles are wheelchair-accessible. Shuttles will run approximately every 15 minutes.

Parade: No sign-up necessary — just show up. Smaller vehicles line up on Sol Shanholtz Road. Larger vehicles line up in the Augusta Auto Parts/Hometown Solutions Parking lot.

The Bank of Romney is providing an ATM in the Main Dining Hall.
